What is the trådverk VIP Lounge? It's the place where I reward customers for their loyalty. My tiny business exists because of you. The VIP Lounge is how I show my appreciation.
Why are trådverk products often sold out? Due to the rarity of the materials I use and the slow process of handcrafting, my textiles are usually 1 to 4 of a kind. I re-stock my shop once a month. To never miss a shop update, sign up to my newsletter. (scroll down to the footer of this page).

Is your wool superwash wool? No. During "superwash" treatment, perfectly lovely wool fibre is coated with plastic (polyamide epichlorohydrin). This is not a natural fibre anymore, and its negative impact on our environment is nothing I want on my conscience.
Is there a way to get my hands on secondhand handwovens? You can buy pre-loved trådverk handwovens, or swap or trade your own in our Facebook Group.
Can I test or rent one of your baby wraps or ring slings? If you are in the EU, you can rent a trådverk wrap or ring sling. My rentals can be found in the handwoven wraps collection.
Can you repair my handwoven item? I offer a free repairs service for my handwovens up to 1 year after purchase upon submission of a valid proof of purchase. This is part of the after care service offered when purchasing directly from me.
How do I wash my trådverk product? You can use the wool wash program of your washing machine, or gently wash by hand in lukewarm water using detergent or soap for wool and silk. Gently squeeze the suds through the fabric, taking care not to rub the fabric too much, and avoid steep changes in water temperature as this may cause shrinkage. Rinse the garment in clean water, squeezing gently without twisting or wringing. A short light spin in the washing machine will help remove most of the water. Dry naturally away from direct heat such as radiators and sunlight. Never use a tumble dryer! Press whilst damp, or with steam at medium setting to bring out the softness and lustre of silk.

Will an invoice be sent with my order? You will receive an invoice via email.
When will my order be shipped? Your order will be shipped within 5 business days once payment has cleared.
I have a discount voucher, where do I enter the code? From the checkout page, you can enter your discount code into the box provided. The price is updated accordingly and, on that same page, you finalise your order.
How accurately are the colours of your yarns and handwovens displayed in the shop? I do my best to display the colours of my handwovens and hand-dyed yarns as accurately as possible. However, the accuracy of colours can’t be guaranteed as screen settings can affect how an item is displayed.
