...on a mere whim.
At the expense of people and planet, we have stuffed our wardrobes with garments we don't need. Garments made with synthetics that fill landfills for centuries to come and spread micro-plastics in our oceans. Garments made with wool from mulesed sheep, with cotton from huge monocultures sprayed with pesticides, too-cheap cashmere from too-large goat herds, and synthetic dyes that poison our waters. Garments made by slaves.
Fast fashion is destroying ecosystems and people.
I don't want any of that.
I craft heirloom pieces using natural dyes on natural fibres. Pieces that can be handed down to your children and grandchildren. When something breaks, I'll mend it.
I work with farmers and environmental & ethical initiatives that produce my fibres and spin my yarns.
I support the people who make an effort to produce sustainably and ethically. Read more about it on my Fibres & Dyes page.
